Equal Pay Provisions
The equal pay provisions of FLSA prohibit sex-based wage differentials
between men and women employed in the same establishment who
perform jobs that require equal skill, effort, and responsibility
and which are performed under similar working conditions. These
provisions, as well as other statutes prohibiting discrimination
in employment, are enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission. More detailed information is available from its

U.S. Government.
